The truth is fiberglass pools aren't better than vinyl pools and vinyl pools aren't better than fiberglass pools. Each type of pool has unique advantages and disadvantages

Fiberglass pools last a long time. Structurally they should last 30+ years if installed correctly. How long they last cosmetically however is highly dependent on how well you look after your pool. We've seen fiberglass pools that are structurally sound but after 3 years of neglect and lack luster maintenance look as if they are 40 years old. 

You should expect to refinish your fiberglass pool every 15 years but with proper care and routine maintenance this can be extended dramatically.

Yes! Fiberglass pools are saltwater compatible and over 95% of the pools we install in the Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge & Guelph Area are Saltwater fiberglass pools.

Salt water may not be the best sanitization option for you depending on where you live so we also offer alternative systems such as Ozone, UV, Mineral, & Traditional Chlorine.

Typically in Ontario it takes between 3-10 days to install a fiberglass pool itself. However projects with full & extensive landscaping take anywhere between 4-8 weeks or even longer to complete depending on the full scope. 

On average it takes us 6 weeks to complete a full fiberglass pool project.

Fiberglass pools come in sizes as small as 8'x8' more like a spa or plunge pool and go up to the maximum size of 16' Wide x 40' Long.

The most common sizes are 12' x 24', 14' x 30', and 16'x40.

The maximum deep end depth you can get with a fiberglass pool is 8' deep.

Both fiberglass pools and vinyl liner pools are generally fairly easy to maintain. They both have very smooth surfaces when compared to concrete pools which helps them to resist difficult stains and algae growth.

Vinyl pools do require vinyl liner replacements every 10-15 years while you can expect to refinish a fiberglass pool every 15 years.
